Rose Plant for the
longest time have enjoyed the honour of being the most popular flowers in the
world. Rose is a perennial flower shrub or vine of the genus Rosa, within the
family Rosaceous, that contains many
species and comes in a variety of colours. There are many of rose cultivars that
people grow in gardens and on farms. The names used to describe the different
types often refer to one species that is the main ancestor of that group, for
example, Gallica Rose Plant are mostly descended from Rosa gallica.Other
groups have several different species among their ancestors. Hybrid Tea Rose

that. Most of these miniatures were created from Rosa chinensis ‘Minima’ Their
plans are 6 to 18 inches tall. The smaller bloom, foliage and bush size makes
them different from other Rose Plant. Its small bush produces a dozen or more
blooms. They require direct sunlight for nearly five to six hours. Rose have
shallow roots and therefore need a lot of water.

blossoms are full but too soft to touch. The plants may reach from 8 to several
feet in its shrub form. They must be cultivated in areas where heat and
humidity both gets mixed up in summers. They are available in almost every
color excluding blue and the black ones.

before 20th century (past before the onset of Hybrid Teas). They exhibit
characteristics like sturdy as they are able to cope up with a cold winter
season and also good in keeping away the diseases. This designation of Old

- Ancient Sumerians of Mesopotamia (in the Tigris-Euphrates River Valley) mentioned Rose Plant in a cuneiform tablet (a system of writing) written in approximately 2860 BC.
- The English were already cultivating and hybridizing Rose Plant in the 15th Century when the English War of Rose Plant took place. The winner of the war, Tudor Henry VII, created the Rose of England (Tudor Rose) by crossbreeding other Rose Plant.
